Reviews - Go to “Beer In The Evening” and check our reviews, or add one of your own.

Stanley Craft Ales - Our new venture is up and running and our first ale, “Barbs Belter” has proved very popular; it sold out at the recent CAMRA Southdowns Beer and Cider Festival in Lewes! The Belter will be a regular on our pumps alongside our 2nd Ale, “Brenchley Best” (named after our trainee Brewer Sam!) It will be slightly darker, slightly sweeter and a tad maltier, with an abv of 4.3%.

Ale Trails - Saturday 4th August, leaving the Stanley at 10.30am. We will be visiting the following pubs, first up will be The Anchor in Ringmer, followed by The Cock in Ringmer, The Laughing Fish in Isfield, The Alma in Uckfield, The Pig and Butcher in Five Ash Down, The Horns Lodge in South Chailey and finally The Swan at Falmer. Please book your seats now to avoid disappointment! We will be running another trip probably in late August.
